How do I send a file?

On the receiving phone tap Receive. On the sending device tap Send, pick a file, choose how to protect it and tap Start sending. Point the receiving camera at the sending screen until the file arrives.

The transfer is slow or stuck. What helps?

Hold both devices still and close enough that the codes fill most of the camera view. Turn the sending screen to full brightness and avoid glare. If it still struggles, choose the Robust speed on the sender. Missed codes never break a transfer; they only add time.

What is the difference between Key, Passphrase and Open?

Key locks the file to the receiving phone: the sender scans a code shown on the receiver first. Passphrase locks it with a word you both know. Open sends it unencrypted, so anyone who can see the sending screen could capture it.

It says the passphrase is wrong.

Passphrases are case sensitive. Check it with the sender and try again; the file stays on the screen until you open it or discard it.

The app cannot use the camera.

Receiving needs camera access. Allow it in your device settings under Magical Share, then open Receive again.

How big can files be?

Up to 200 MB, but transfers run at about 50 to 100 KB per second, so the app suits documents, photos, notes and keys best. A large video is better sent another way.

How does the free trial work?

Everything is free for 7 days from when you start the trial. After that, sending needs a one-time Pro unlock. Receiving from other phones is always free. Nothing is charged automatically and there is no subscription.

How do I get Pro on a new device?

Sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account. On Android the app finds Pro by itself. On iPhone, iPad or Mac, open About and tap Restore purchase.

Where are received files kept?

In Received, on the home screen, inside the app on this device only. Swipe a file to delete it, or delete them all at once. To keep nothing, turn off Keep received files in About.

How do I lock the app?

Turn on App lock in About. The app then asks for Face ID, a fingerprint or your device PIN when it opens, and again after it has been in the background for more than 30 seconds.

Can I send from a computer?

Yes. Open apps.zincirx.com/magicalshare/web in any modern browser, pick a file and point your phone at the screen. Sending from the web is free. Opening files that come from the web on your phone needs Pro or the free trial. A Mac can also use the Mac app.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone and iPad with iOS 15 or later, and Android phones and tablets with Android 7 or later. A Mac can also send.
