How do I restore my Pro unlock on a new phone?

Install Latchmark with the same Apple ID or Google account you bought it with, open Settings in the app and tap Restore purchase. The unlock is a one-time purchase and carries over at no charge.

Will my buildings move to a new phone?

Buildings are stored only on the device, with no cloud account. Share each building's PDF report before you switch phones so you keep a copy. Your device's own backup (iCloud or Google) may include app data, depending on your settings.

How are clearances checked?

Enter the widest gap at the head, the hinge edge, the latch edge (or the meeting edges of a pair) and under the door. Hollow metal doors are checked against 1/8 inch plus or minus 1/16 inch at the head and edges, wood doors rated over 20 minutes against 1/8 inch, and every door against 3/4 inch at the bottom. Composite and 20-minute wood doors follow their listing, so Latchmark records the reading without judging it.

Which NFPA 80 edition does it use?

Choose the edition for each building, from 2007 to 2025. The 2007 and 2010 editions list 11 items for swinging doors; 2013 and later add gasketing and edge seals, and door signage, for 13.

The tag will not scan. What can I do?

Turn on the torch from the scan screen and hold the phone 10 to 20 cm from the label. Worn or missing labels: tap Type the number instead on the scan screen, or type the opening number.

Why does my report say Trial?

The free version allows one building and marks reports as Trial. Unlock Latchmark Pro once (Settings, then Unlock) for unlimited buildings and clean reports with your logo.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone and iPad with iOS 15 or later, and Android phones and tablets with Android 7 or later.
