Record each target, its occupancy and whether it can be moved or restricted, plus site history, topography, site changes, soil and wind exposure.
Likelihood and consequence matrices
Rate the likelihood of failure and of impact, combine them, then apply consequences. The rating follows from the matrix, so every tree part is rated the same way.
Mitigation and residual risk
List mitigation options for each condition with the residual risk, then set the overall rating and the recommended inspection interval.
Photos and GPS on every tree
Photos and coordinates are saved with the tree, even with no signal in the canopy or at the back of the lot.
A branded PDF for clients and municipalities
One tree or the whole site, with your logo, credentials and the assessor's signature, ready to email from the truck.

Questions
Does it work offline?
Yes. Everything in Limbscale, including photos and PDF reports, works with no signal. It never needs a connection to do its job.
Is it for iPhone or Android?
Both. Limbscale is being built for iPhone and Android, on phones and tablets.
Is there a subscription?
No. You pay once through the App Store or Google Play and own it. No monthly fee, and no per-report fee from us.
Where is my data stored?
On your device. There is no account and no cloud server holding your jobs. Your data, photos and reports stay on your phone or tablet until you choose to share them, so keep your device backed up.
When does it launch?
We're aiming for October 2026. Limbscale is not available yet. People on the founding list hear first and get the founding price. If there isn't enough interest to build it, we'll email the list and say so.
Can I get a refund?
Joining the founding list is free, so there is nothing to refund. After launch, you buy through the App Store or Google Play, and refunds follow Apple's and Google's policies.
Is this an official ISA form or app?
No. Limbscale follows the structure of the basic assessment method so your field data is complete, but it is an independent app, not an ISA product. The PDF is laid out by Limbscale with your branding.
Do I need the TRAQ credential to use it?
The app does not check credentials. It is designed for arborists trained in the method, and the assessment and its conclusions are yours.
