How do I restore my Pro unlock on a new phone?

Install Limbscale with the same Apple ID or Google account you bought it with, open Settings in the app and tap Restore purchase. The unlock is a one-time purchase and carries over at no charge.

Will my sites move to a new phone?

Sites are stored only on the device, with no cloud account. Share each site's PDF report before you switch phones so you keep a copy. Your device's own backup (iCloud or Google) may include app data, depending on your settings.

How is the risk rating worked out?

For each failure mode you rate the likelihood of failure and the likelihood of impacting the target. The first matrix combines them into the likelihood of failure and impact; the second combines that with the consequences into a low, moderate, high or extreme rating. These are the matrices of the ANSI A300 (Part 9) tree risk assessment method. The tree's rating is the highest of its risk items.

Why does Limbscale ask for my location?

Only when you tap Use my location on a tree, to save its GPS position. The position stays on your device and is printed in your report with a map link. You can also type coordinates, or leave them out.

Why does my report say Trial?

The free version allows one site and marks reports as Trial. Unlock Limbscale Pro once (Settings, then Unlock) for unlimited sites and clean reports with your logo.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone and iPad with iOS 15 or later, and Android phones and tablets with Android 7 or later.
